in base_en, if the forums have been recompiled, then you should see base_en, if the forums have not been recompiled after you upgraded, then you need to do so.
in base_en there are a couple of files --> recent_topics.xsl and --> recent_topics_main.xsl
the template you are using, i would revert back to tmpl_uni while testing this, but you need to make sure that in your template, you have the recent_topics.xsl file? if you do have the recent_topics.xsl file in your custom template, and you see your custom template named with the _en which would indicate that the forums have been compiled, then something could have very well gone awry there.
1. after checking /modules/boonex/forum/base which should have an instance of both of the files mentioned above, then you can rename or remove the base_en and if your custom template has the _en instance, rename or remove that as well, also, remove the uni_en or rename it, whichever you are most comfortable with.
reset back to the uni template for testing purposes here:
then go to your dolphin admin panel, navigate on the modules menu, for orca forum, and select manage, in the right hand corner you should see a link that says compile language, clicking on that should return you a message that the languages have been compiled sucessfully.
now test your forum. if all is working well, then you know you are missing the recent_topics.xsl file from your custom template, so in your custom template, you need to go to the core set of files, compare what is in the base directory /xsl with your custom-template/xsl and make sure you have all files. most of these files do an include on the base files, so you will need to look at the tmpl_uni to compare the actual template files that are required for your custom template. copy the xsl directory from uni, and put it in your custom templates xsl directory.
If I had a theme on my site (using D7.0.2) and after upgrading to 7.0.4 only to find out that the Forum index alone is not compatible, how can I fix this?
