Flash header logo

How can I use a swf logo in the header instead of an image?

It wont let me upload it from the  basic settings page.

Thank you.

Of course you can't upload it. The default system uses a html img tag so only images are supported in the built in logo system

You add a swf you would need to insert it in the template instead.

templates\base\sub_header.html

replace __main_logo__ with proper shockwave flash embed code.

Thank you for your feed back.

I'm not able to edit templates\base\sub_header.html. I've tried to change the permission setting but they will not change. Does this have to do with Dolphin or is this something I need to contact my hosting company about.

Thanks again for any help

Try editing it within your web hosting account's file manager.

Thanks for your reply. I had try to edit it and/or change file permissions through both filezilla  and logging on to the 1and1 acount through the Plesk control panel but it gives me this message:

Error: Unable to edit file /httpdocs/templates/base/_sub_header.html: filemng failed: cp: cannot create regular file `/var/www/vhosts/wastehauleronline.com/httpdocs/templates/base/_sub_header.html': Permission denied
filemng: Error occured during /bin/cp command.

Any ideas?

Thanks again for your help.

Have you tried downloading that file via ftp. Editing it locally and uploading it again. This is how i edit all my template files.
