First Test

I think that the new dolphin is very interesting, obviously is a beta and they are still under construction therefore is normal to have some minor problems I did some first tests.

i Have Create Account Giovanni_M

# send friend request to user

# the request is not clickable and not link to any profile because is requested with Account " first to have created a Profile "

 

# after this have Create Person's Profile ( Giovanni ) and ( Test )

# after having created a profile not have the possibility to login on site with this account, when i insert my email and password i choose only the profile ( Giovanni ) and ( Test ) not original Account ( Giovanni_M ) example for navigate on the site and send profile request.

# if i creating new Account with the same name Giovanni_M but with different email i are able to register Acconunt with the same name ( Giovanni_M )

# if I want to edit profile name or other field are obligated to change the avatar

Yes, looks like we need to

- check that profile-avatar issue;

- make sure account without profile can't send friend requests and that it is clearly communicated that profile is needed;

- clearly exlain that "Account" is not a profile and can't be switched to. Account is just a login identifier, while Profile is what represents you on a site. One account may have multiple profile that it can switch to. Like personal profile, professional profile, company, celebrity, artist, etc. 

Maybe you should have some kind of setup wizard when somebody registers. E.g., have them setup an account or an organization, upload an image, etc. Kind of like the installer.

Profiles system need some more detailed explanation, we will post about it later. 

By default there are two profiles based modules (Persons and Organizations) - it means that you can browse the site and post content under person or organization, but actually there is build in Account profile, this Account Profile has no separate page and associated image, so we disabled some function for it, for example it is impossible to switch to this profile in profile switcher page. It looks like we need to turn off some more functions for this Account profile, like creating content, send friend request, etc.
