Find out who the system has emailed recently?

Hi, 

I was wondering is there is a kind of log where it shows a list of all users/emails the system has contacted recently? I need to get hold of the email list who has been contacted by the systems email notifications.

Not within dolphin. It does not log any of that.

If your on a dedicated server and running it's own mail server than those server logs will be all that you have.

If your on shared hosting then your hosting provider would be the only one you can get that information from.

A) If you don't care modifying dolphins core files, create a new table in the database and fill it with data passed to the sendmail function in utils.inc.php

B) Forward any outgoing mail on your mail server as a bcc to another account under your control

Or check your server logs what have been sent like Deano suggests. But I think there is not much info in there u can use.

I personally think this is a major issue for the mere fact that there would be no history!  If my server was sending messages with no way to tell anyone who, what, and why I see some serious liability for such an error in track ability.  If someone does something stupid IMHO there should always be a trail... To identify who, what and why...
