File upload

This is a very serious business. Can anyone help me find an answer for these questions?

If I enable File upload for members..And, the member will set the permissions to public, then it means every one can download that file.

So what if a member upload a virus? And, ok, I will disable auto-aprovel, then if I download it on my server to check it if is a virus or not? I am extremely  vulnerable to attacks!....

Any suggestions?

You can set the files extensions you want to all in the Admin Panel > Modules> Files, then click settings tab.

Look for Allowed extensions (leave blank to have all types):

You can add extensions you want to allow like mp3, doc, xls, txt, etc.. and only those files types would be allowed.

I would suggest adding anything like exe, vbs, etc.

Nothing to see here
