File Not Found Error On Video Upload

Well, perhaps the most troublesome issue I've had with Dolphin 7 has been the errors encountered when uploading video. When someone uploads a sound, everything works without issue. But, if someone uploads a video, everything will work; until they try to play it. This is where the "File Not Found" error comes into play.

Checked your permissions of flash/modules/global/app/ffmpeg.exe and set to 777.

And the cron job also set correctly.

Can Some one help me in this regard.

sivakishore,

can you tell us what you changed on your cron job? I have the same issue like you but pulling my hair for two wks now (incl. reinstall D7). My cron is sending email though (so I guess it works) but video upload is 100% complete and 'file not found' when trying to play it.

there are other reasons besides failed crons that will fail an upload. what is your max upload size | max post size on your server?

does ffmpeg.exe have the correct permission settings according to your servers build, some are 777, some are 755, need to check with your host.

at any rate. just thought i would share that with you.

max upload size | max post siz are both 40MB, and the permissions have been tried without success. I guess I will contact the host... the last time I ask them they copied the php.ini file in my root which I don't think it matters because I'm using .htaccess.

Thanks for your effort to help DosDawg.

Ok, finally my host fixed the issue. They should not have just put a PHP5 add-in to my shared webserver when I asked them I need PHP 5.2 for D7. Now, they migrated my site to a PHP5 server, and my video uploads are working fine. Thanks for aeveryone who tried to help.
