Field caption gone?

I entered a great number of field captions yesterday. Now i go to the site and all edited and added fieldcaptions by myself are gone.

This is not fun, i have a zillion captions (_FieldCaption_Login_details_Edit)

How is this possible????

How could this have happend and how do i prefend it from happening.

I work on a local database.

Even worse...

In the admin panel the caption are right but one the frontend they are displayed wrong.

i think for some weird reason the language was set to dutch...

i can't remember changing it, however i put it to english again and everything was allright

The caption changes you made are into the English language file, not the dutch file.
If you want them also into the dutch file, you have them entered mannually, or make a new dutch laguage file from the  English  file, but that means again compleet  translation.

Yeah about 3600 lines uptill now :(

Pfff that's gona take forever...

he he eh I got about 12000...BUT.....you open only the one lang you want to edit ant its about 2800...

reactivating blocks wont update strings for "Caption"

Caption is whats read on site...the string

...no need to do all that just open fields builder in one window and your join in another then edit blocks and insert the "Captions"
