You have another topic with a problem you must fix. It is most likely the cause.

You are on a server that is not setup properly to run dolphin.

See these hosting requirements and talk to your host to make sure all are satisfied.

Specifically for this one. open_basedir should not have any value and safe_mode must be off.

Dolphin itself has a host tools section in admin that can point to other problems. Check it. yoursite.com/administration/host_tools.php

Hi.....

Safe mode is now off for my site.... but even then i am getting feeds.... :-(

Is safe mode the only thing you checked?

Feeds not working is still a server issue of some kind that must be found. You must verify ALL dolphin requirements are met.

The other thing besides safe mode that is part of the error is the open_basedir setting. Did you check that?

Verify there are no disabled functions.

Verify curl is properly operating. Use the test script i provided in this topic to check that. http://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/Test-script-for-curl-fopen-and-gethostbyname.htm

Then as i mentioned in the previous message. Check host tools in admin for additional problems.

I removed the other topic.. Lets keep the discussion in this one..

As stated in previous post (and by Deano), go to your Admin Panel > Tools > Host Tools and see if you see any errors.

I check it.... Php accelerator is not on..... :-( . is that the reason?

Nope.. Has nothing to do with it...

- Most common resolution is that you or your host does NOT have allow_url_fopen enabled in PHP.

- If you have permissions to override your server PHP configuration, you can create a php.ini file in notepad with the following code:

allow_url_fopen= On

- Upload the php.ini file to the root directory of your dolphin install. If one already exists, you can add this code to it instead.

- In some rare cases, I have seen that you may need to add this php.ini file with this code into the /modules/boonex/forum directory also.

You should be able to see if fopen is enabled in the Host Tools section too...

Question.. Do you have shared hosting or dedicated server. And who is your hosting with?
