Featured ads on homepage

Is there a way to ad a page block that would contain featured ads on the homepage? Or is there a mod that can do this as well?

Really... there is no way to make this happen?

There is a mod by Anton in the Market place, did you take a look. Of course you can always create your won block and place ads, but that would be a manual process.
