Feature request- website link in profile type

I really thought this was on the final features list.  How do we add a simple website link to a member's profile.  You really had to jump through hoops to do this simple action in D6.  What I was hoping would happen would be a new "type" in the field builder new-item, that was for url's.  It seems like it would be a common thing to want to put one or more website links in a member profile.  Does anyone know if this is in the plans?
