Fan Group Issue: Confirming and Deleting Fans

I'm using Dolphin 7.0.9.  Users were using MSIE and FireFox.

Fan Groups Confirming and Deleting Fans

I have fan groups on moderation, meaning, when a user creates a group, an admin must approve the group.

Two users are having this issue with fan groups they have created. They have their groups set to manual confirmation of fans, not public and automatic approval. When a user joins, they are sent to the Unconfirmed Box, the user who created the group, then goes to approve the request, and when they check the box for the user and then click Confirm, the module starts to load and never stops.

One of the users has another group that has a member he no longer wants to have involved in the group. When trying to remove the member from the group, he checks the member and clicks Remove and gets no response back at all.

I've looked through the Unity forums and couldn't find any solutions..

One of the users write:

>Well, I set the group to require confirmation for joining.  I have a "unconfirmed" user there, but I can't confirm him.  I check him off and click "confirm" and then the circle just spins. Apparently others have had this problem, someone else described it here: http://www.modmysite.com/general-issues-comments-questions/10646.htm

In addition, as before, even as the group mod, I can't delete existing users.

The member follows up with this reply::

This isn't good. For the short time I had the group required confirmation to join, I had 3 people request to join... So now that I switched it back to "no confirmation" to join (because the confirm/reject doesn't work), those three are still listed there as "Unconfirmed fans".  And I still can't confirm them.  And, of course, the "view fans" is back to default instead of "fans only" (because I changed the join confirmation setting).

I have the same issue on 7.0.9. I had to disable the group module because of this issue.
