This is the support forum for the Family mod.

Solves compatibility issue with Dolphin 7.0.7

Adds the ability to show reverse relations. 

Example scenario : Mary adds Jane as her Mother 

On Mary's profile, Jane will be shown as Mother and on Jane's profile, Mary will be shown as Daughter

This mod is now updated for Dolphin 7.1

The module has been re-designed for Dolphin 7.2 and upwards.

A dolphin 7.3 version has been released.

how can I add my own option (relationship). I didn't find in readme file.

 In the admin section, look in "Builders" => "Predefined Values" for FamilyType

 I filled value and Lkey pair (with test and corresponding lkey).

when using the add family action in website, it is showing Lkey not the value(test).

Do I need to do anything else

Send me a screenshot showing what the Admin Predefined Values section looks like after you have made your addition.

@sureandhraindia - Please note that you also have to go to the languages section and add a language String for the language key _modzzz_family_test.

I have added value test in both english and russian. Its working fine.

I came to know one can add multiple relations with same person, that's good infact.

It is coming after reposting a relationship.

Missing language key has been added. Re-upload files and recompile language for the module.

 Do we need to upload all files for one key. Is there any other way to change?

The modified file is modules/modzzz/family/install/langs/en.php

Unable to change no. Of family members to be showed on profile page. I changed in admin family module to 5, but it is showing 6 on profile page.

Where can we see remaining family members if setting was done for 3. There should be show more link to show remaining members on other page
