Why is the Facebook connect ignored for the mobile app? Does anyone have a app for this?
Also there is a multiple entry or add another site to the mobile app, is that to be able to add additional sites to the same app? Or have access to multiple sites through the same app?

Come on not even a nibble!! Csampson |
Grrr this is something that could make a site stand alone with the APP alone why no answers? Csampson |
I agree. The mobile app leaves a lot to be desired. It definitely needs to be more like a Facebook mobile app as well as have the Facebook connect feature available. I use Deano's facebook connect but if the Dolphin version could be implemented into the mobile app, that would be great too. Jeremy |
If done it makes the app one step to use and can be accessed from a mobile device in one click not several after already joining...
Ease of use guys please one step not multiple steps...

Can anyone do this? I will pay... Csampson |
I do not own a mobile device of any kind. But i thought most of these devices have a native browser.
Seriously. I think if i had to install a app for every one of the hundreds of sites i visit on a regular basis i would not bother.

Deano you are correct and the newest version or OS6 allows to upload photo's from that native browser which was not able to be done in the past and now with your FB connect button a person can log in through the native browser and upload photo's it's a bit clunky but it can be done. It seems like baby steps but it's a step forward...I am going to look at the IPad now.

The choice of not allowing file uploads was apples choice and i believe it was a stupid one, and maybe now they are beginning to realize it.
I think sites should design a mobile version of the website rather than a mobile app.
If the site design properly fits the display of these devices it may not seem as clunky. https://www.deanbassett.com |
I could not agree more and I think Apple iPhones have paid a dear price b/c of it. But Dolphin does quite well in the iPhone and Ipad sand box. Now that OS6 allows uploading of files the end user experience with Dolphin and the native browser will be a much better one... But just understand Dolphin does quite well on both IPads and IPhones... Csampson |
