Description
This MODULE provides a convenient way to enable and disable your site. When the site is disabled a maintenance messsage is displayed. The message can be edited if required. Full HTML is allowed within the message.
When the site is disabled you can still access the admin panel by typing the url directly into your browsers navigation bar. IE - http://yoursite.com/administration
Future plans include additional settings and features to be added to base module.

Difficulty of installation
Easy - Step by step instructions are included for installation on modded sites, or simply copy the included files.

You could add this to your excellent Deanos tools. No editing of core files. A much better way to go especially when it comes to D7 updates.

Doesn't work for me.
I checked the DB, and the value for dm_maint_enabled is 'on' when enabled, and blank when not enabled. Module installed OK, and double checked the edit to inc/design.inc.php and it's OK.
I'm good at breaking things. It's what I do.

The value is only tested for being 'ON' in the active state, In the inactive state it is NULL, but it could easily be anything except 'ON'.
I'm wondering if it might be a cache issue. The cache should be cleared when the setting is saved. Any chance you can try deleting your cache/sys_options.php file and try again?

I have had one in the market for quite a while.
I no longer sell any of my editor mods for faq, about us, ect. for the same reason. Someone released a free one.
Just means i have to get coding and come up with some new mods.

Notice Deanos Tools is not in the Boonex Picks in the market. I am betting it's one of the most popular mods here but because i had to start a new market entry because the old one could not be edited, it did not stand out so it was not picked.
My kind of luck. I always get screwed. And i don't even get dinner first.

They are. Based on reviews. And Andrew Boon visited my profile today. The only time he ever has. Just kinda bums me out that i could not get boonex to fix my previous market entry before the release of 7.0.2. Going on 7 weeks waiting for it. I finally had to say screw it.

New version uploaded.
To upgrade you will need to uninstall old version and remove additional lines from /inc/design.inc.php. Then follow the instructions for the new installation.
