Evo template background image size 34kb?

Earlier in 7.2.1 if you want to change the background image you can just replace the sys-bg-main and sys-bg-main-2x with your own image of the same size. Recent image is of 34kb but previous were roughly of 150kb and 450kb. My question is the image of 34kb being used in tile format? if not from where we can change the background image. I can't find it Undecided

i simply reeplaced the original image with my own and gave it the same name as the original (renamed the original) - as you mentioned as a process in previous versions. I did have to play with the size of the image in order to get it to fill the screen - but thats just because the size of the original was way larger than what I wanted.

But, It is not about the size of the file itself, but the height and width ofthe image. So, yo ucould use another image that is whatever size you want and just play with the width and height of the image till it sits like you want it to. Mine ended up being 1420 x 800 as an end result to sit close to what I wanted.

Edit: I did positioning of the image also. I do believe the original was displayed in a repeat manner - dont remember.

I would suggest to use Site Customizer module to change background image.

Using the new site customizer module to add a background does not allow me to have a background image that fills the space and is static. That's why the module is of no use to me. Will this feature be added?

Hi Alex. Is there any documentation on how to use the site customizer module?

I'm checking it out now and doesn't really make sense to me. Thanks.

Hi Alex. Is there any documentation on how to use the site customizer module?

There is no themes, by default, so just switch between the possible styling options and change them, they are in the box menu:

Hi Alex. Thanks again. I read through some other forums and noticed that this Site Customizer is only relevant for certain themes (EVO, ALT). I purchased another theme from the market some time ago so it's my understanding the Site Customizer can't be used for purchased themes.

That's OK, I just wish to be on top of the features provided by the software.

Site Customizer looks like it could be a solution, but does anyone know if changes are made through the site customizer, does the changes only apply to template that you are currently using it on?  Or does it apply to all 3 of boonex templates?

If Im using it on Alt, will changes apply to Uni as well?  I cant test for myself because Im not near my pc, and wont be for a few days.

On another note Alex, site customizer should be improved for a much quicker workflow.  If changes affects all templates, I think there should be a toggle/check button to select which templates you want to make the changes on because this would be quite handy & beneficial to everyone:

a) site customizer can allow you to make changes to a specific template without affecting the others

b) site customizer can allow you to make changes to all templates

Best of both worlds, because I may want a different background image for Uni, and a different one for Alt.
It would be pointless to have 2 identical templates (uni & alt) where the only difference is in Name only.  Besides, evo has a entirely different background image from Uni & alt anyways, so why not extend the same both Uni & Alt as too?

Ultra Newb reporting for duty.
