Hi,
I am using Dolphin 6.1.4, and when I go to Add Events, when clicking on Choose for Event Start, nothing happens. It does not pop up the Calendar?
Can anyone point me in the right direction here please or advise to what maybe wrong?
Kind regards,

All Ok, you should got calendar. Recheck - are current page have any JS errors? |
Hi AndreyP,
No, non of the pages shows JS errors.
What happens is that the page for Add New Events appears, you can complete every field except the Start Event field, when you click on the box nothing happens, at the bottom of the browser it says, "transferring data from mysite.com", but nothing pops up. The Choose, Clear and Post words on the buttons appear gray not black.
Any ideas?

Hi AndreyP,
I tried downloading and re-installing version 6.1.4, but still the same problem. I also looked through this forum to see if anyone else has had any similar problems, but no success.
The Date Of Birth calendar works fine, it's just the Events Calendar itself that is not working.

This is very strange, we have just one calendat (Zapatec DHTML Calendar) in sustem ('plugins/calendar' folder). And its same in all pages ..
I have several questions:
1. Are you have ane JS error at page? .. it can prevent calendar loading
2. Which mode are you using during uploading files, Auto, Binary or Text? You should use Binary method of course to prevent files changing

I have same trouble, although I do have other errors with Events page saying the viewer is "Admin" and not keeping the members "hello links" onscreen at the events page...
My calendar doesn't pop up in the events adding page inside ACP. It does pop up in join and edit profiles, anyplace lese date info is needed. I am able to add events if I key in the date and time with the proper format, btu the calender chooser never pops up.
6.1.4 ad-free version.

My events calendar is now working
.
My solution:
Renamed .htaccess to no.htaccess on the directories:
/plugins/calendar/calendar_lang
/plugins/calendar/calendar_src
/plugins/calendar/calendar_themes
nice

I know this is a very old thread but I found something that might help someone..
I thought calendar wasn't popping up on add events page, but I was wrong. For me, it is popping up, but it is WAY up out of the viewable screen area. If you click on the page to scroll it up, it closes the calendar. Clicking on the scroll bar does the same.
I have found that I can scroll with mouse wheel if I don't click. Just click in the field to add date/time, and roll the wheel. It'll roll down and you can grab and move the calendar. Kind of frustrating because if you do click anything between times, it's lost again.
