Events Block Listing Backingwards

I have the Events block on my homepage.  The problem is that it is listing the events backwards (the last event is listed first).  How can this be fixed.

Are you referencing the Date the event is to take place or the Date the event is posted?

I'm referring to the date the event is to take place.
