Event Description is text only

I have been entering events in the Dolphin 7 beta2 . The Decription is created in Dreamweaver and then the code is entered into the Event Description Text Area. I was expecting the resulting format upon viewing would be that of the formated html code. Instead, it is unformatted text. Not sure if this is a bug or missisng feature.

It's neither of those, it's an end user error.  You have to use the HTML button to enter HTML code into the Events section.  The Text Description is for text only.  If you want to input code, then look in the gray bar above where you type, 2 rows, you will see an HTML button, click it and enter you code in that.

well i does say "Description" description is re-creating or visually presenting a person, place, event, or action so that the reader may picture that which is being described.

so don't be supprised if html code's don't work in there

HTML in events works! It allow to edit HTML via TinyMCE editor.

I see you have custom design.. I suppose that it is your custom design problem, please check it with default design.
