I'm trying to find a way to make the date fields in the events area (and I guess later perhaps other areas) a pop up so that a user can just click the date rather than have to put in an unknown format.
I saw a post here: http://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/Pop-Calendar-Date-Selector-Complicated-amp-Off-Putting-feedback.htm
While that is exactly what I want, I have no idea how to go about editing to page or getting something like that work. I have worked with code before so I know where I can mess with things and where not to, but this dolphin system is so complicated and what not I don't know where to start.
Anyone out there done this or know of a place to point me to?

Also there is no information about what the actual format is supposed to be for users or even to myself. |

It should have that behavior already by default. If you do not get a pop up calendar when a date field is clicked, then something is wrong with your installation.

Oh mother of god... Thanks for the response on this. I'll try reinstalling the module then.

Reinstalling of the module didn't fix it. Hmmm... Support ticket maybe then? I had boonex do the install. |
Ok, I think it's a firefox problem (version 19). I tried it in IE (version 9) and it comes up no problem. |
Confirmed. Version 19 and beta 20 of Firefox are not allowing the script to run for some odd reason. I tried version 16, 17, 18 and they work just fine. |
Deano posted a fix for this yesterday.
It takes some minor code changes but it works perfectly!

This is the same problem that 7.1 had, that is now fixed in 7.1

Brilliant, this fixed all my problems. ^_^ well at least for the popup date time thing.
