My video chat works.

Checked permissions and they seem to be ok.

Talked to Arvixe:
robin: did u want the user id and pwd for testing
robin: ?
XXXX: No that is fine. This is something you will need to contact boonex about as I have already run the commands that adjust the setting properly on the site

I wonder why no other hosting company beside Arvixe has experienced this problem.

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

HL you know thw exact reason for this. they just dnt want to fix it for users. i have been talking to them for about three months. but no luck.

all they do is blame boonex for it. but i am sure its not boonex as the video recording work on every other hosting.

its ARVIXE who is playing with customers. i am leaving soon as i finish my year with them.

Not EVERY other hosting.  I can't get recording to work with my Joombyte RMS and they blamed Boonex as well.  As I could never get it resolved, ended up editing the option completely out so that the "record" option does not appear to end users.

Hey Guys,

I read/saw a email or a posting, regarding mods and ext and the process one needs to get the application certified.

Why can we not do the same for a hosting company, recommended or not we should start rating them?

I moved from Blue host to Arvix. my primary reason for the move was  RMS. its kind a depressing when you spent all this time and find that one option you really need doesn't work.

I experienced the same problem at Boonex.us or is it at my end?

maybe Boonex will review this in there next upgrade.

I was hoping the upgrade would have fixed my "record a video comment" but it wasn't to be.

I was just looking through my cpanel error log and found the following and was wondering if someone could look at it and tell me if its related to the problem im experiencing and any clue to fixing the problem:

[Sun May 02 19:06:06 2010] [error] [client 173.33.28.223] Input #0, flv, from '/home/xxxx/xxxxx/flash/modules/video_comments/files/1_temp.flv':, referer: http://www.xxxxxx.com/flash/modules/video_comments/app/recorder.swf
