Enhancement - Video Messenger Membership Actions

Hi,

Is it possible to add membership restrictions to the video messenger feature?? While I would like users to see/use simple messenger, I would like to control who is able to use video messenger.

Thanks

This is precisely what occured to me right now, too. Or at least, could possibly members specify who can send them video chat request (I think it's currently tied to general simple messenger privacy settings, isn't it?)?

thats right. I would be nice to have more control. Doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Not unless you can directly message Rayz, he does work for Boonex.

Hi

A user can deny any other user to send a video chat request by simple standard blocking feature.

Lols. It's not about what members can do - they can refuse a vid chat request, after all.

It's about what we as admins can set so that only certain members will be able to use video chat. Either for bonus or other reasons.

right, like an upgraded subscription can only use the video chat part of simple messenger.

Well, this option is already build in chat application.

I had a plugin called "membership levels manager", and granted it to standard Dolphin features set several versions ago.

You can use it in chat admin panel. Find "Membership settings" button, next to "Search user" button, click it and you will see the settings window where you can tune each membership level priviligies

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
