Enable 'Create New Privacy Group'?

Can some kind person tell me what this setting in Admin/Settings/Advanced Settings/Privacy Groups actually does?

A few days ago I activated this setting and found my way to a box that asked for some interesting details. I was distracted and shut down the computer. When I returned to Dolphin several days later I spent several hours trying to find that box again - with no success.

I'm probably on the wrong track, but I assume this setting allows users to create a privacy setting for specific people other than the public or friends. Am I right?

For example, does this setting allow my members to upload a photo and let a handful of friends see it by allocating their username? If not, what features does it actually offer?

The next question is: Where do you access the box from if the option is ticked?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you are correct, it allows members to create new privacy groups and add members to that privacy group.

Thanks Geek_Girl, that's exactly what I want. Unfortunately I still can't locate anywhere to create the new group or implement it. As I said, I did find it a few days ago, but switched off the computer before I'd made a new group. When I went back, I was unable to find where I was working.

I have PhotoDeluxe installed and I'm wondering if I've isolated the feature in the PhotoDeluxe settings. If someone can tell me exactly where I should be looking it would be a great help.

I've uploaded new photos and all I get is the default privacy groups.

Thanks for that Geek_Girl. I can create new privacy groups but they refuse to appear in the Privacy list. I tried it on the demo site okay, so I'm guessing PhotoDeluxe is the problem. I'll contact the author with this and other issues I'm experiencing.
