Embeding video from youtube won't work.

I have HTML Block and when I add embed code from youtube (<iframe ... ></iframe>) to Edit HTML Source, and Update, it won't be save. If I do it manually like accessing the sys_page_compose table and locate my Sample HTML Block (Desc Field) and paste the embed code in Content Field it will work.

any help on this?

I'm using D7.0.7

There's a glitch in the youtube code that makes it require the old code, also known as the long link. If you are capturing the share code on youtube, there's a link "show options" <- click that and select the box "long link" and use that code instead.

The <iframe> tag is not supported and is thus stripped. You need to use the old embed code, which uses the <object> tag.
