Drop down menus - don't

Just noticed that my drop down menus no long dropdown so my main navigation is basically static without the dropdowns using Evo template. Works ok on Uni. What could have caused that? http://molosserdogs.com

I switched to Hypernova Template which works. You can use theme changer in footer to see Evo.

Either AlexT or AntonLV caused it.  Maybe both of them. There's a good possibility Andrew Boon caused it.

Maybe both of them.

I agree - absolutely no reason at all. Was working like a charm after upgrade and them.. bam.. broked....

another anomaly - the login link disappeared from Hypernova template.. yeah I will ask Master theme about it but I think the gremlins are getting happy.

In other words, there are no drop down menus by design with the evo template, as it is intended to work well with mobile devices.

Also because that template was and is not compatible with 7.2, as most have done. It was plainly stated that ALL older templates WILL not work with 7.2 and you should WAIT to upgrade your sites.

As the upgrade instructions state, prior modules and templates to 7.2 will not work and your site should not be upgraded!!!

Why was it necessary to fuck with the template engine at all?  The more I hear about the bugs and crap with 7.2 the more I want to leave Dolphin and just "fork" 7.1.6 and develop my site independently of Boonex.   The damn thing was released too early so now we will have the damn upgrade from 7.1.6 to 7.2 and then another fucking upgrade from 7.2 to whatever to deal with the bugs.  I have people wanting to upgrade to 7.2 but given the customisations it will be a pain in the arse to do and probably will be almost impossible.  Perhaps it would have been better to leave Dolphin the fuck alone and release Trident.

Hypernova is compatible with 7.2 according to the market. http://www.boonex.com/m/hypernova-responsive-unlimited-color-dolphin-2013-05-22
