We have released a new version ( v2.1) of our D2Facebook mod that contains all fixes for new Facebook OAuth API related changes. Lot of customers have already tested it on their sites and they are all good.

Is there a bypass for this error.. I know it is a time thing in the PHP.ini file but I don't have a way to edit that file right now until I move away from shared hosting in TMD Hosting:

The FAQ zone for dolphin 7.1 the new version has a bug, this mod won't let you delete members in the admin after you install this mod? but after you uninstall it you can however delete members but then you will loose all your faqs just so you can delete a member? 

The facebook and twitter combo for dolphin 7.1 new version of dolphin, the events importer link for facebook has an error in it when licked? the twitter mod seems like you dont have an option for the update twitter tweets it always says empty with no box to do twitter updates? and on all the other boxes of twitter, there is no comment box to add comments to twitter friends?

I don't think the mail is working on the Facebook app either.. I have mail in my inbox and does not show up at the site when I click on it..

 Facebook has modified their API and we are thinking to deprecate this feature due to it's added complexity.

Have you tried the latest version of FAQ, I think that issue has already been addressed.

If you are getting events error, probably it's conflicting with some custom walls module on your site. You can PM me the logs and I can take a look. For Twitter, something looks wrong at your app end. If you can PM us the access, we can take a look...

Hi having a problem with Facebook invite and inbox the invite it doesn't seem to work its send the invite to people but when they click on it its doesn't send them no where does anyone know why?

And on Facebook app its ask for Secure Canvas Url and put what its say on the instruction  but it doesn't work  any help ?

and on my site on Facebook inbox doesn't seem to work any fix ?

I just installed it and it is not pulling any info at all from Facebook Only the likes page.. when I connect it asks me if I will allow to post and stuff i say yes and then nothing..

I think we all having problem with Facebook it seem Facebook again been anass and chance everything I spoke to armaan and they looking in to it and trying to fix that new problem with Facebook

 That's all very well, but the developers should be posting that information here... rather then ignoring the PM's and emails people are sending.  Obviously not very reputable, I basically feel scammed, I only just purchased this mod... and the developer had the cheek to issue me a license key, rather then advise me that this mod doesn't work at the moment...

Relax. It is all alright. It s Facebook changing crap all he time. He will fix it as he always does and you will be happy you Have it like the rest of us. 

I'm annoyed at mods4dolphin for taking my money when the mod doesn't work... he has also chosen to ignore my PM and emails... he is definitely someone not to be trusted.

All he had to say was " sorry this mod doesn't work at the moment" but no he'd rather take your money first, then hope he fixes it... that's just bull.

Guys let him fix the mod its nothing to do with him its Facebook they change the codes about 2 weeks ago again they don't want to lose there member's so they keep doing this to every Facebook app out there I had to deal with that kind of crap from Facebook its a good mod there is no Facebook mod like this just be patient and let him fix it what's all the hate message on this ..

 Whats with all the love? he has taken money from 2 members so far, knowing that his app doesn't work? then says nothing when you send him a message... 2 weeks trying to fix this? are you for real thinking his attitude is OK? Typical behavior when all good things come to an end. I'll let paypal sort it out... but I know I have too hopes of that.

what scam ? when i get this mod 2 weeks ago they just change the code and after i contact him he say would i like to get my money back i said no because i know its Facebook and he will fix it .... as u can see on the form where u get it every one is happy with this mod i have Facebook and twitter and my twitter works great.. so if u not happy with this just ask for your money and im sure he will be more then happy to give it to u but just to let u know i won dolphin software for over 2 years now and i have ton of module and customs ones as well. and Facebook is the ONLY one that ever give me problem with

 I have asked for a refund (emails/paypal and a PM here), stating that I would consider buying this mod when and if it ever works again. However mods4dolphin has chosen to ignore my messages. I don't particularly care how anyone else feels about Armaan or his mod, first impressions last you know. I'll never trust him again period.

We don't ignore any messages and try to respond to all of them but sometimes get busy with development as Facebook or Twitter API changes. During a development sprint, it can take 1 day or it can take 2 weeks. We apologize for not responding to every message but you need to understand if the mod functionality breaks, our #1 priority is to update the code and get the new version out ASAP so that all customers can benefit from it.

SMartyD's refund was processed but we also informed him that we fixed the facebook API issue and then he purchased the mod again and hopefully he's a happy customer now.

I just bought this mod i just got my lisense key and i tried to set up the app but facebook says that Canvas URL must have a ? not sure if im not doing something right or if this mod is dead. I need to get this up and running soon or i also will need to request a refund. I really want this to work on my site.

I got this to work by adding a ? to the end of the url.

V2.2 is compatible with Dolphin 7.1.3. Updated the mods page to reflect the same.

Hello! I wanna buy this however I already bought Deano's FB connect which allows FB users to import their FB Photos and Evo WALL module which has that familiar FB News Feed feature.

I want to buy your product for 2 specific functions alone:

- Events import support added to allow users to import events from Facebook to Dolphin
- Groups import support added to allow users to import groups from Facebook to Dolphin Can your provide some screenshots for these?

So a user in FB that is a member of 20 FB groups, and joins my website using his FB account, he will see those same 20FB groups in my website when he imports them? How does this work as there's no screenshot at all in your website. What about the members of those groups? So how much if I just want to get those 2 functions? Will it cause some issues with my existing modules? Thanks, Sam

What exactly does this fix?  What was the problem to begin with?

Oops.. I think I just broke my Facebook app.. Hehe.. I had to upgrade my server from php 5.3 to php 5.4. Now that I did that I get a plain white screen on this mod and on the admin part as well.. 

Is this mod compatible with php5.4? Does anyone else use php 5.4 on there server and have this mod working OK?

Any fix for PHP 5.4 yet? The mod is broken until the files get updated to php 5.4 for me.. As well as the Twitter Mod..

Listen, I built a new server with PHP 5.4.24; all the repos have gone to it.  Dolphin would not load, White Screen of Death.  Beware of upgrading to 5.4.24 because you may see your whole site go down.

Everyone ignored me; it is a serious matter that needs to be addressed now.  At some point, 5.4.24 may be all you have unless you want to find old binaries and compile php and all the extensions yourself; not exactly fun time.  Boonex needs to be pouring through Dolphin and seeing why and where it fails under PHP 5.4.24.

What is the 2/11/14 update for?

The Mod is looking good, just have a couple issues to resolve.

1 - FB Friends are not showing up in the friends block for some reason, says it's empty.

2 - My FB Timeline (which you refer on menu at left as Profile it seems) only shows a 5 posts when clicked, of course my FB Timeline is much longer than that.

I purchased the Combo Package some time ago (Facebook and Twitter Mod - Combo Package). I'm setting up a new site and wanted to know if the versions I have will work with Dolphin 7.2

The link in the last update email I got has a link that leads to a download page and a message that states "Product isn't selling, further product support and update maybe unavailable."

I just wanted to know if I should even try installing this.
