Dolphin and Hackers!

Just what is it with this software? Does it broadcast to astalavista, ryan1918, hackerscenter and other hacking sites that it's installed on a server?

I mean, I had hacking attempts on my site before I had even linked to it from anywhere, so how the hell did they find it? I am getting seriously concerned that this software, no matter how nice it is to look at and use, has some sort of 'flaw' that we should know about..

Some spiders/bots are in continuous search, custom made. I think you should consider securing your site and get a thrustful hosting. Hacking attempt many of us had. There were fixes for this...

Yes, .. so if you have good hosting (with normal settings) and good .htaccess settings - you will free of hacked

I haven't been hacked, but there have been attempts, many of them...

just worried me that, even with no backlinks, the site I'm 'testing' on was getting hit by the fools. There were some attempts that got 200 OK tho, instead of the usual 404 etc.. I've checked and can find nothing that shouldn't be there (or nothing that I think shouldn't be there...)

This is the first time I've seen a site of mine get attacked so often but I'm confident I have suitable security measures in place, we'll see though ;)

I am sorry but i dissagree you could be on the securest server you can find. I know for a fact part of ray is exploitable.
