Dolphin Subscriptions Management Module

Should I uninstall the memberships and payments modules, that I installed from the Core, before I install this module?

If I am installing a 3rd party Module, that is a Core Improvement. Will having the Core modules installed first, conflict with the new modules, or does it require them?

Are you talking about the module by martinboi?

If so, you can leave the standard membership and payment modules in place and just install this over them.

For other modules and core modules - It depends on the module in question.

Module developers normally put a readme file in that will let you know.

Thanks for the heads up,

My hosting company installs the modules I buy for me, so I didn't realize there were readme files in the .zip.

Alas, in this case, there was no insight. But at least I know to look there.

You really should be installing your own modules. It's part of learning how dolphin works, what tools you need to work with it, ect.

Has Martinboi been in touch to set the license for your module?

I've been trying to get in touch with him for some time now...!

Yes, I understand the importance of learning how to install the modules, but time was of the essance, and I needed to divide and conquer.

I did have contact with marinboi when I bought the module. The automated system did not work and he had to maually put through the order before I could download the module.

I have not tried to configure it yet, got side tracked on other issues, and the owner of the company has not yet followed through on setting up the Authorize.net account.
