Dolphin Search Form Changes JOIN and EDIT, WHAT!?

I spent time setting up a search form with check boxes using the profile fields only to find it changed the join form and edit form for profiles.  What in bleeding hell was Boonex thinking here?  How am I suppose to set up a search form for the members to find matching profiles?  I have a profile field "Hair Colour".  I want to be able to search for all members with either Brunette or Redhead as their hair colours.  How am I suppose to do that?  What if I want all Brunette and Redhead's with 38C breasts?  Am I suppose to search for each one over and over?  What if I want a range?

Unless I am missing something, the Dolphin search feature is a worthless piece of crap.  It is version 7.1; this should be done properly by now.  How does anyone build a dating site with Dolphin if this is the way search works?

I want an answer on this as well.

Ok. Here is a answer.

Your right. It's a piece of crap, and so is the couples system and a number of other areas in dolphin.

I will write my own replacement for dolphin someday.

Maybe after my second heart attack if i live through it.

This is a serious issue for the site I am currently working on; it needs a decent search engine.  I thought Dolphin was born as a dating platform.  I changed back to the select boxes but there is no way to unselect the select boxes; no way to remove them from the form.  The market does not appear to have any real replacements.  This is on top of a Prime license and I have to tell the owners, sorry, Dolphin has a really shitty search feature and of course there is no support, they won't even answer bug reports half of the time.  Yeah, that is going to go down real smooth.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
