Dolphin Games Mod Support (Modzzz)

This is the Support forum for the Dolphin Games mod.

Version 2.0.1 released. (See patches/version_2.0.1 folder in zip file)

Added an option in the settings so admin can choose to show games in outline or not.

Great module. But to add a game you have to click add article? Why not add game?

I also get this error every morning that I had it installed?

Mysql error: Unknown column 'when' in 'field list'

Found error in the file '/home/trucking/public_html/inc/classes/BxDolSiteMapsQuery.php' at line 40.
Called 'getAll' function with erroneous argument #0.

Ok, I have un-installed the module. Then cleaned my cache. and then installed it again. I can now submit the sitemap and it does not throw the error anymore but I also lost all the games? Will see what happens..

Nope still the same thing. after the cron goes off and adds games I get the database error and the sitemap gets cleared out with errors.

An issue with the Site Maps integration is resolved. Re-upload this file :

modules\modzzz\games\classes\BxGamesSiteMaps.php

Added an option in the settings so admin can choose to use page builder format for showing blocks on games view page or use the default format that overrides the page builder layout so as to display the game across the full width of the page.

when i use this URL it gives me a failed address  http://www.dolphinmods.com/games_media.zip    i cant seem to get to the games..it fails to start the download

Yes I have 2.0.2 installed.. But mine still says add articles?

 Search for 'add articles' in the language section of your admin panel and change it to 'add games'

I did that and it does not show for Games. Here is a few screen shots what I am talking about..

Is there a way to make a new feed besides the ones that are in there?

Yes, but you would have to get that done as a customization as coding would have to be written specifically to import that feed. Different sites present their feed info in a different manner so you cannot have a generic import script that automatically works with all feeds.

I know your busy but I seem to have a problem with the capability with games and the timeline. When I install the games the New Boonex timeline only shows one post. But if I un-install it, it will show the number of post that is in the timeline settings. I don't know if it is just my site or if it is a bug.

Think I got it figured out.. Just re-installed games..

Update made to disable broken games.

An update has been made to the following file :

modules\modzzz\games\classes\BxGamesDb.php

My site is on an HTTPS server.  When video (Or games) come from HTTP it is a mixed domain issue and the content does not display.  That has been my experience and has been confirmed by support from my hosting company which is Zarconia.

Does your extension have any support or games that will work through an HTTPS server?  Have you ever run into HTTPS for games in the past?

I recently updated the module to resolve the issue with HTTPS incompatibility.

Unfortunately there are still issues with HTTPS incompatibility so I have flagged this module as not compatible with site running on https.

that it does not work with https so I have thrown the money out of the window

Since it was discovered, a warning was added to the product description. You can get another module of similar value for free.

OK, I'll report me once I found something just keep at them until back wondering if it works requires https
