Dolphin Configuration Need advice for server upgrade

I am about to upgrade my server from a shared hosting that has 5.5% CPU Load to a Semi Dedicated account that has 30% CPU Load. This has become necessary due to growth of the site and load demands.  I know during my dolphin installation I put my server name in somewhere. Example: myserverhost.com but with my upgrade the server url will be different. Where do I need to go (in what file) to update this information in the dolphin configuration so my site will function on the new server?

update information on this file "header.inc.php" on folder "inc" you also need to import database from the old site to not lose any data, and to make everything work fine at 100%..

but this is necessary if you change url to the site, or change names and password to the database .. not to the server the server name is not important and is not present in the configuration..

Another very important thing to remember when you "move" a site is of course the header.inc.php file, then manually clean/clear the three cache folders leaving the .htaccess in each folder.

  • cache
  • cache_public
  • tmp

Good Tips both you thanks as will the header inc file answered my question. As well I will import my database. My hosting company says they will migrate everything for me without a hitch. I will just have to get my sites up and working again with script configurations.  I will have everything backed up in fear of the worst.  Thanks your both of your help.
