Dolphin 7 Beta Bugs Discussion

I figured this would be a good thread to start as I didn't see one.  Maybe we can keep it under one thread to help with the trapping for everyone and also to prevent possible repeats?

Upon administering Payments I get the following error:

Warning: file_get_contents(/home/wcperson/public_html/d7/modules/boonex/payment/orders.css) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/wcperson/public_html/d7/inc/classes/BxDolTemplate.php on line 814

(I haven't trapped it yet)

There is one module that doesn't install:

Check your file path, these errors are all over the place, try searching using messages instead of using titles within the search criteria, way to many people use Help!  Urgent! and so on.  Come on Medfordite, you know this already.

FYI:  Boonex also has a special blog just for D7 Bugs.... You took me way to serious on that previous post... Relax, this is all in fun!

I know about the Trac and tickets etc.. but got the impression that they are not wanting stuff in there.

Also concerning the whole "Duplicate" issues out there, since this is Beta and not the Alpha it would make sense that this would have required a different format of tracking.

I can be a fun person believe me so not to worry that I will be fun here.  I apologize for getting the wrong impression.

Another error for the Beta version:

After moving an option out of the Nav Menu I get:

the things actually that i found very stupid... its that you need to install to many module before being able to install the group module or the wall module... what if i dont want to install the video sharing module??? should i be stuck an unable to install the rest???  this suck

Actually, the D7 Beta blog, tells everyone to post bugs in this forum.

ok now i finally can enter my license code while im trying to login into the admin section.. the boonex banner is gone... ok perfect it works.... BUT i try to create an account and i cant!!!!   its always says : Your username must contain only latin symbols..... but i use   webmaster   as a nickname.... it is chinese symbol???  i got the same problem while im testing the alpha.... and i told about this bug on the blog and into the forum... i cant understand why this MAJOR bug was not fixed for the beta version.... or am i the only one who got this error????   i try anything such as nickname... and got always the same error... so i cant create another account... so i only can test the website with the admin username... not very useful for testing the IM function and all the other messaging function....

I had that problem in the alpha as well. The fix is easy but for the life of me i can't remember how i did it.

I will have to install it again so i can play with it.

Admin -> Builder -> Field Builders.

Edit the Join Form.

Click on Nickname to edit.

Go to the Advanced Section.

The code in the check field here is wrong. The code should be something like this.

return (bool)( preg_match( '/^[a-zA-Z0-9_-]+$/u', $arg0 ) and !file_exists( $dir['root'] . $arg0 ) );

To ----> Medfordite, too have experienced this same issue when invoking the payments module.

i got installed this beta, now my question is... did i can copy all members profiles and videos, etc from my current online proyect ver6? its just for test with all my current content. Any 1 does it?

Just reporting.. When opening links:

Database error in My Dolphin Test Site

Query:

SELECT * FROM `sys_links`

Mysql error: Table 'mysite_dolphintest.sys_links' doesn't exist

Found error in the file '/home1/mysite/public_html/dolphin_test/links.php' at line 54.
Called 'db_res' function with erroneous argument #0.

you can try, but it can get real messy... wait for a release candidate at least.. probably boonex will make a upgrade patch by then..

To the guys getting the Function.file-get- contents error  Medfordite and DosDawq --I got the same ..but something funky happened after a refresh it disappaered and neer came back ....

I went in there today and didn't get that error this time around with the payment admin.  So very odd indeed.

Page Builder is still non functional in spite of different things I have tried.

has anyone tried unregister.php?

I get DB error and have to chenfe the query in admin.inc.php

Then I get a Call to undefined method BxSitesDb::getSitesByAuthor()
