Sorry about that.  Thanks for deleting the earlier post.  I didn't see the Bug Reports section this morning.

Problem Found:   If the Subscribe Block is removed a Gzip error is encountered upon revisiting the homepage. Here is how to trigger the event:

Go into the Admin panel

Select Pages Block then Homepage

Drag Subscribe to inactive blocks

Go to your website homepage

Click any of the return home (Index.html) features (home/Flash Promo/Home Icon)

You will now get an Internet Explorer Gzip error

Firefox will not display the error.

How do I fix this?

I have just recreated the error on the Boonex Admin Demo. I was able to check it at the boonex demo's active page. I also found the error on someone else's website. Click home a few times at:

http://www.militaryromance.us/

If you have shoutbox or Subscrible listed on the page it will not display an error. Since we last talked I have done a fresh install on several domains. Each time I am getting the error. I have not tried it with out a license.

I got rid of the error.  What I did:

Open Admin Panel

Open Advanced Settings

Open Other

Disable Page Blocks Cache

That got rid of the error, but you really need to look at how the page blocks are caching...
Quote · 15 Oct 2010

It is happen because page block cache for search block, then some necessary js files are not plugged in and js error is generated.

So I suggest to disable page block cache (set to 0)  for search blocks on homepage in admin page builder.

It is not necessary to disable whole page blocks cache - you need to disable it just for quick search block on homepage only.

Ticket is created for this problem: http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/ticket/2229

Also be careful in setting page block cache for some blocks, especially for blocks which are inserted from modules on homepage and other pages and pages like profile, group view, event view, etc.

Hi,

First of all sorry to open an old topic but since it's the exact same issue we thought it makes more sense to use the old thread.

The date calendar does not pops-up on the join page for one of our customer D7.0.4 sites, we tried few things (disabling page cache, deleting and re-uploading plugins and jquery script files, disabling search block cache, clear cache etc) but the issue still remains...

It keeps throwing the following error -

I.E throws - Object doesn't support this property or method error as posted by the OP. Chrome throws the following -

Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'addWebForms'

Line 4 - inc/js/jquery.webForms.js is the culprit i.e.

$(this).addWebForms();

Any ideas how to resolve this error?

Thanks

Armaan

There is strong jQuery version dependency in Dolphin - this is the reason we stick to the older version for now. This site is using latest version of jQuery without updating all other parts, like jQurtyUI for example - this is the reason it is not working. I recommend to use jQuery version from Dolphin official distribution.

You are Da Man !!! That was exactly the issue, thanks a lot ...
Basically, there was a mod - Live Translation by harvest media which has this line in include.php -
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.pack.js"></script>

We un-installed the mod and the date pop-up started to work fine.
But strangely, If we remove that line or change the path to point to  plugins/jquery/jquery.js and install the mod, it still doesn't work.

Anyways we will leave it un-installed  for now..

Thanks a million,
Armaan
