We've just installed 7.0.9 on our dedicated Centos 6.3 server Apache 2.2.23.
I am NOT liking how the system determines what a board URL is when I create a forum and it seems I have no control here.
For example:
http://adultprovidorsassociation.com/apa/forum/#group/USA-Escort-Forums.htm
The first board the URL Created was : http://adultprovidorsassociation.com/apa/forum/forum/Alabama-0.htm
I wish it wouldn't capitalize just because I had to in the name.
The second board for the same state different purpose is http://adultprovidorsassociation.com/apa/forum/forum/Alabama-2012-10-15-0.htm
Notice how the program put in a date.
I would like to tell the system when you create this board, this will be [insrrt my chosen string ] URL I want you to use
- Is there any way I can accomplish this?
- Any modifications can be done to influence this?
- Where in the massive progam is the code which controls this so I can find it and have our resident uber geek maybe kill it, put it on a spit and roast it.
