Does the sex filter work in mass mailer?

Hi, I've posted this question once before but nobody answered.

I'd just like to know if anyone has tried using the sex filter in  the mass mailer and can confirm it works.

My instance of Dolphin is heavily modified so it's a possibilities it's just mine that isn't working but I have a suspicion it won't work in a fresh install either.

For anyone wanting to know this in the future, the sex filter doesn't work.

Seems like Dolphin removed the code in an update, the sex filter code that's left in admin/notifites.php is useless.
