If you go to http://una.io you get a better understanding of UNA. However, the demo site for UNA sucks; sorry LeonidS but it is the truth; if you want to sell UNA you need to have a robust demo site. Unless you have updated the demo since the last time I visited.
What I think is that Boonex is going to use the Dolphin name to sell UNA because Dolphin has a long history and UNA doesn't; not counting the work done eight years ago that was stopped and then started again. The reason the back end of UNA is so bad; and it is very bad, is it was coded eight years ago when people moved in some bad direction of website design and coding. Look around, do you see any flash based websites any more? Bad design and coding went the way of the dodo bird as they should have.
What the community is hoping is that Boonex will give us the current Dolphin code as MIT license so we can fork Dolphin and rebrand it. However, that depends on Andrew.
