This is the support forum for the Dictionary mod.

I found it...but, I like to have the ability for members to record a voice and play it...or Assign sound to it so other members can play it..I thing will be much easy...this way

Modzzz, this mod create this SQL error bug..please fix it!

Mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND `author_id` = 509 LIMIT 1' at line 1

Found error in the file '/home/iamassyr/public_html/modules/modzzz/dictionary/classes/BxDictionaryDb.php' at line 129.
Called 'getOne' function with erroneous argument #0.

 Problem solved. Re-do the file updates (not the sql update) from the last patch.

I do not think so it is fix. Correct, the SQL statement is not showing anymore, but when different user click on thoumbs up or down, the number disappear and DOES NOT count.

Change "word" to add definition of two letters

 I do not understand what you are asking. Please try to re-phrase or attach an illustration.

The image did not help much as the language on it is not english and I speak only english.

Do you want to change "word" to something else ? or do you want to add a description on the form to explain what "word" is ?

Once I understand what you are asking for, I will be able to provide a solution.

And I speak French and I use google to translate.

1 - We require to 3 characters (ABC) in the boxes "Words" and I want to put only 2.

2 - "Example" is required to add a sentence, and I do not want.

Perfect, now I fully understand what you want done.

I have modified the mod to accommodate these. Download again and re-upload the files to your server then go to your admin panel and recompile the language for the Dictionary module.

I download the files and replace the ones on my new server, I recompile the language and delete the cache of my browser and Dolphin, but it did not change anything, I can not have a definition of two letters and example and always mandatory.

Please try again. Only the Dolphin 7.0.x version was updated. Now the Dolphin 7.1 version has been updated also.

Last suggestion, for example, that is no longer required, it would be good for the definition or there is not (for example) just as we no longer see the blank line on the site.

Morning Modzzz,

First would like to say this is a great module. We have been busy adding different Trucking words to it.

Now for the error. We have added over 300 words with no problem. One got miss spelled and had to go back and edit it. After the edit we got this database error:

Is there any way of on the homepage having it show random words?

@TruckingSpace - The error came because you ran the points integration procedure more than once. I will look into the possibility of the random entries for the homepage.

So do I need to go into the database and delete one of them? Don't know how I ran it twice but guess I need to fix it.

Also How can I add to the name? Would like just the main page for searches to say TruckingSpace Dictionary instead of just Dictionary.

Ok I just installed this module , it is another great module from Modzzz. Thanks.

However I have a very strange sql problem.

as an Admin I can view the phrase , no problem. but as a member it gives me a sql error.

I checked all the permissions for admin and members and even checked the sql but didn't find any

thing that causing this problem.As a member I can see the list of phrases but when I click on them to view the phrase it will give me this error message.

I attached two images , one as admin and one as a user ( member) .

Please let me know what am I doing wrong?

My coding knowledge is moderate on dolphin , so I can edit or modify some files but don't expect me to rewrite the module.

Ok one more issue

the members can't see the number of thumbs up or down on the phrase.

I think there is a field on the tables that is missing and it is causing all these problems for members view.

An issue with the Youtube Embed is resolved. Re-upload the following folder :

modules/modzzz/dictionary/classes

Is there a way to make the listing page say page A. or Page B. the words in there to be alphabetical? Instead of how they were put into the dictionary?

 I will look into that.

The rating images in this mod has been replace by font awesome icons. Re-upload the files and clear cache.

Dictionary Module - This is now compatible with Dolphin 7.2 . For those upgrading from Dolphin 7.1, please check the upgrade folder for instructions.

Layout fixes have been made. Re-upload module files and clear cache.

Update has been made to the Dolphin 7.3 issue to fix issues with timeline compatibility. Re-upload the following folder and clear cache :

modules\modzzz\dictionary\templates

Is there or was there a alphabetical bar at the top of the page? Don't know if it was this module of yours or another one. If not then what would it take to add it in?

That way we can go strait into C or G and see all the words that start with C or G.
