Desktop problem

hey ihave downloaded and succcessfully installed ray desktop but the problem is when i sign in i only see online and offline members plus a filter list and nothing else. wht shud i do? i can't see movies or images link and not even IM option in it. if i click an online member it takes me to his profile but no IM. please Help

well it appears to me that u should only have 3 options when in the desktop (agent) .

1. View Video - This can be enabled in the Admin/Tools/Ray/Desktop Settings...at the bottom enable the video

2. Send Mail - These are also setup in the same area...u have to set the directory to those pages on your site in the fields available....without the http://www.yoursite.com/  so if it were http://www.yoursite.com/example.php   you would just put example.php in the field box....

3. IM system....not really sure bout that one...mine not showing either and i have been researching but appears no answer to this question yet....wish it would be released somewhere as so many ppl are looking for it....

hiiz buddy ok i have enabled the video and the send mail option thank u so much for ur help :) but is there a way to share photos on it too. coz im using dolphin as a fan art photo gallery community!!! there is no such thing as im on desktop i think or may be its not workin in the free verison :( .

ok there seems to be another problem if we click on sumone's video the desktop closes it self :(

not really sure why it doin that....try making sure that u have ray pro enabled on dolphin admin/advanced settings......let me know if not i will try on my site....

i enabled it but still the same problem :(

mine appears to be doing the same thing.....sry was really busy yesterday...gonna play w it some and see if i can help both of us out.....

hey just got email from boonex on this subject.......here is their response....

The latest Desktop doesnt have neither IM nor Chat capabilities because of latest Flash and Java Incompatibility. We're working on this problem....

WELL this would explain alot, since Ive been asking the question about the desktop for several months now and have gotten NO reply from anyone on this issue. I just figured nobody wanted to talk about it, like it was a big secret. Thank you soooooooooo much Blackkt!!  atleast Now I know What and Why, now just to find out When, and hopefully not to take another 6 months to find out.
