DesignBox

Lest ye' all not know, there's a hidden feature in yer' database for page items called a "DesignBox." This option allows you to set a certain style to the page item that can differ from the others. For example, setting the DesignBox to "0" removes the page item border and header, while setting it to "3" produces the ugliest design I've ever seen.

Now, then: Why don't we add this to the options available in the page builder? It works fine, and there's no reason for it to be hidden away from sight.

Yeah, this would be great.

mauricecano
has a mod that will add this option

I tried that, I could not get it to work properly. Also, it is yet another change to core code. If Boonex include this in any future upgrade, One less thing to worry about when upgrading.

I'm aware of the scores of modifications that add this very feature, but the fact is, I don't want to use them. I can already tell that it's a simple modification, and even though this feature has been available for years, it still lacks a front-end control for it.

Editing the database can become an annoying thing, especially when you have to continuously empty the cache directories. This shouldn't be considered a top priority, but it should at least be considered for some time in the future.
