Deleted groups etc still show on World Map

I have tried searching for this one and it doesn't seem to be a kown issue but I have noticed if I delete a group, or anything else that shows on the map, it is not removed from the map. I have cleared cache many times since I noticed this and it hasn't changed. If  click on the item an then the link that appears I get a 404 because the page doesn't exist since I deleted it.

Is this a known issue? Does anyone else have it? Does anyone have any suggestions?

i have similar issue with map not updating when users change address nor are locations showing accurately from initial accou t creation.

OK, I realised the groups are being removed, I have a mod which is effectively a clone of groups with some improvements and that is the problem. I'll contact the dev. At the moment it's fairly strait forward removing directly from the DB but over time that wont be a viable solution.
