Hint: It has nothing to do with 'The White House' being on my list of 'likes'.

I want the ability to turn off some features like allowing member to import their "events" from Facebook. Why?

When they do this, every single event they have ever been involved with gets imported, no matter age! I might add also the wrong photo for the event.

Photo import is good but still would like the option to allow this feature to be turned on or off.

I don't know how long I can stay with this mod.  There has to be some minimal amount of product support, and we're just not getting it.  I just don't understand this guy.

I see you have time to put more mods for sale in the market.  What is so hard about creating a support thread for some of your existing products?

this is very bad example from DERARTMEDIA of a developer.

he is a very good developer but his communication with his customers, its up his hoop.

i have got few mods from him, they all work great but when it comes to something like this he is never available (atleast for weeks)

DERARTMEDIA you realy want to consider these things if you want good reviews from your customers.

i actually think now should i buy anymore products from you in future or should i just wait for someone else to come up with similar products.

I too like the mod, but without any! support I will not purchase anything else from him either..

through all this complaining, I still have not received a single correspondence from him.

I see that Derartmedia, A.K.A Beck Media has had the time to make eight new modules and add them to the market.

I also see my other module has also been removed from my shopping cart. leads to 404 page.

That is two expensive modules that I now cannot use or access anymore.

New people beware of this module creator!!! Do some research on his name and his other profile companion beckmedia.

Purchase these modules and you will not be happy!

You can request a download from developers for products that were removed, and they must provide a download, if possible.

Regarding derartmedia, he has been warned by the administrators that he's on thin ice, and one more dispute/report will be the end of his market career.

 I've asked in the past for a link to download these. Never got a response.

I know you guys say you have warned him, but from our end, you couldn't tell.

you will again have to login to facebook to access wall and info.

With this module you have the option to "Import" all of your facebook events. I did this, instead of putting the events photos on the site, all my personal photos from face book are now plastered all over his site under the events section, please look BOONEX members. All the photos are my personal photos clipped from facebook!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sent a message to the developer.  I need someone else to verify the problem before the product can be pulled, as there's always the possibility of user error.  I assume you should be able to remove those posts on the demo site.

I think you could do that, at least.

 I also imported my facebook "Groups" this is what it would look like on your site.

 Why don't you test yourself. Like I have anything to do with the importing, this is all done without USER input.

See, this is the problem, how do you expect to understand the module if even you or Boones refuse to try to use  these so called working modules?

And why do you always include a sarcastic remark like the quoted one above from you? You think I have this error on my site, and his own demo site. God I'm glad we're not in the same room. 

It's being looked into now.  Also, I was not being sarcastic.  I apologize if it read as sarcasm for you.

I could not reproduce this problem.  I created an event, added pictures to the event, and after importing the event through the module, account photos were not imported.  I am noticing that no photos were imported at all, though.  I also see your personal photos were changed to a picture of a flower.

 The photos changed because I imported events twice.. see how inconsistent this is.

Inconsistent, yes.  I did send a message to derartmedia about it, regardless.  I do take matters involving privacy seriously, but wanted to make sure there was an actual problem before needlessly removing the product.  It's not because of sarcasm, but because two people couldn't reproduce the problem.  I will remove the product if it's shown (and can be reproduced) that the product is actually importing personal photos for events, which serves as a privacy problem, and a faulty product, all in one.

I removed the events from his site, and re imported with the same results.

My photo, only one, was imported for 64 events.

Same for the groups.

I could actually care less if he fixes, I will never use another module from him.

ohh yes i see module produce this shit now !! Facebook changes anything in api, before we have`nt this problem !!

I will fix this problem in my weekend, so nobody have to worry - just talk like humans !

Monday we will release a fix for that problem, also we release mobile app integration at end of next week.

I'm contacting Facebook Privacy division and forwarding this post to them.

I'm sure they will not be happy to see an application pulling private information without warning the end user.

 I still haven't seen reproducable proof that his products are doing that.

 Nathan, he admitted it is not working right..

Module is fixed as i sayed since last monday, but i was not able to update my marketpost before yesterday !

DosDawg, and others. Watching the video you created, you are importing your "photos".

That is or was not the issue, it was importing of my "events" that tapped my personal photos.

The module has been partially fixed, the photos are right but other functions are not, and the facebook API for all to see is not good; good laugh your getting. 

I'm glad to see you tested the functions and tried to see what I was dealing with.
