Installed Version 1.0.3

I am facing the following error: Invalid redirect_uri. This value must match a URL registered with the API Key.

What could I be doing wrong here.

It means either the oauth 1.0 accept url or oauth 2.0 redirect url on the linkedin end(The linkedin app) is either not filled in, or does not match your site. See this video for full instructions. http://www.deanbassett.com/m/videos/view/Create-Linkedin-Developer-Application

oauth 2.0 redirect url field was left blank by me.

Did changes and now its back up and running.

Aug 12, 2014 - Bug in newly included support for EmmetBytes Profile Cover Module has been fixed.
Aug 12, 2014 - Moved the check for registration by invitation only to the join section of code to allow logins to existing accounts but still block new accounts from being created.
Aug 12, 2014 - Added support for a referral by AntonLV's Forced matrix with Affiliate\Referrals module.

Linkedin has made some recent changes to their API.

If your getting the error Your application has not been authorized for the scope "r_fullprofile" when trying to connect with the Linkedin Connect module then do the following.


Edit modules\deano\deanos_linkedin_connect\classes\deanoDeanosLinkedinConnectConfig.php

Look for this line.

        $this -> mLinkedinScope = 'r_fullprofile r_emailaddress';


Change it to this.

        $this -> mLinkedinScope = 'r_basicprofile r_emailaddress';


The copy currently avaliable in the market has also been updated to contain this patch. The market description has also been updated to remove the indication that the module pulled interest information. It no longer does. Linkedin does not provide it as part of the basic profile info.

Basically linkedin has done something similar to facebook and locked down extra information to applications that qualify for to request full profile information and requires that be requested and approved by linkedin. Fortunately this modules does not require the full profile info for what is needed to create the dolphin profile. But this of course kills my future plans to include additional information as well as the custom field configuration i was going to add to the next version which will no longer happen.

We encountered an error saying:

Installation of: Deanos Linkedin Connect Failed
-- Check the Dolphin version for compatibility: The module is not compatible with your version of Dolphin script

We haven't upgraded to Dolphin 7.3.3. Do we need to upgrade to make this work? Please advise.
