Date Formats (example: profile)

1.  I know this question has already been asked/answered, but I need a translation.  I need to change the format of the birthday (profile) from dd/mm/yyyy to mm/dd/yyyy.  How do I go about doing that??  I'm a beginner at this, so please detailed in 1st grade terms. I would really, really appreciate it.

2.  How do I get rid of the Orca/Ray links (block) on the bottom of my homepage?  I purchase a license to remove ads.  So what is next??  Please help.

2. If just footer - you must register your dolphin/orca, just insert your licenses in it (under admin of course)

I explain licensing and how to remove in first grade terms :) In a few other post. Setting the date format is located in Setting - Advanced Settings scroll to the bottom. Select the question mark icon for instructions on how to customize.
