Database install issue

Hi,

I am installing Dolphin and all is fine until I get to the database step (after putting in my site details)...

I get the error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

Any suggestions?

Either your database server is experiencing problems or you are not entering the database details correctly. best go to your cpanel databases and make sure that you enter all details correctly. i.e localhost: youraccount_databasename: youraccount_databaseuser: and password
