Database Backup

If I do a file copy of my site using an FTP program, will that also back up my DB? Can I just do a straight download on my computer via FTP or is there something else that needs done?

I just want to back a FULL Bup of my site.

No it will only copy your site files. You need to use PHPAdmin via your Hosting Control Panel to obtain the Database. You should also be able to do a full back of Database & Files through your Hosting Control Panel too. There is another recent thread covering this topic.
