Daily Bible Verse Mod Support (Modzzz)

This is the support forum for the Daily Bible Verse mod.

This mod has been updated for Dolphin 7.1

Daily Bible Verse module is now compatible with Dolphin 7.2 . For those upgrading from Dolphin 7.1, please check the upgrade folder for instructions.

This module is also compatible with Dolphin 7.3

Some layout improvements have been made. Re-upload files and clear cache.

I'm trying to locate the file containing the line right below the translation version in order to change to something else, but my searches in text editors return no results for "daily word" or "exultation" (screenshot attached).

What is the file I need to change?

 That text is coming directly from the RSS feed.

That explains why I couldn't find it.

So how did you manage to block it in your example (screen shot attached)? Since I'm unable to change it, I'd like to be able to block it as you did.

In modules/modzzz/verse/classes/BxVerseModule.php

Find : 

'condition' =>  $bShowHeader,

Replace with 

'condition' =>  false,

Where is the RSS pulling the verses from?

If that source dies for whatever reason the mod will no longer function.

Is there a way to have that source onsite so that does not happen?

The RSS feed is pulled from biblegateway.com . Sourcing onsite does not exist now but could be developed if you also have the Bible module installed.
