DOB does not work on Chrome

Hi,

My DOB does not work on google chrome, i have found this fix but its not for 7.0.......

It helped me.

There's two actions you need to do.  Use Deano's amended file (back up your file prior to updating of course), and separately add to another file stated with in the post.  Look just over halfway down.

Tried that fix but i have 7.0, the fix is for 7.9 and above!

When specifying your dolphin version, 7.0 is not good enough. Always state the full version. There are 11 versions of dolphin 7.

7.0.0
7.0.1
7.0.2
7.0.3
7.0.4
7.0.5
7.0.6
7.0.7
7.0.8
7.0.9
7.1.0

Im sure ist says "i have found this fix but its not for 7.0" in the first post?

I found an even easier fix. Administration, Builder, Forms Builder then in join form, either click the date of birth then in the next box go to advanced and untick mandatory, or, even easier, just drag it to the unised items. Problem solved!

Date of birth is required by dolphin. It's needed for search features, the bulk mailer does not work propery without it, mods that use dob or check dob to make sure member is in valid age ranges for the site will not work properly and who knows what else.

 Yes, you did say 7.0. But you did not specify the build. In the 3'rd post you said this.

 AH! Thanks Deano, I was obviously not thinking... therefore I need to find a fix as well so that nice Mr Newton chappie can get on when he gets fed up of my silly questions and goes in to kick it himself :)
