In the Admin -> Builders -> Field Builders -> Join & Edit pages we have the Date of Birth field that we have to have, no choices about it. I have been noticing a small percentage of sites complaining that their calendars are not working. Some I've had the opportunity to review, have yet to see an effective solution or even a reason this is happening, it's more prevalent in D6.1.6 sites but I have seen it in .4 & .5 sites.
The issue this creates is that members will create their own version of a DOB and if they do it wrong, the system just inputs 00/00/0000. I have seen it dump 01/01/0047 if a member attempts to use mm/dd/yy format, I've seen it do other strange things with the date.
The end solution to this is to enter a check in the Advanced Tab of the DOB Block. We even have the field within the block. This would force the system to check the DOB, make sure it is the proper format and then it will alert the member if it's not in the proper format.
So Boonex, what is the check to enter into this field to make it work correctly and end this issue for everyone.
