DATE OF BIRTH

After going through the forums i know this has been asked before so ill keep this short

Yes i have checked the date format in the settings>language settings>settings 

i want this format d.m.Y

but for the date of birth on all users is get y.m.d 

I have been through pages and pages of forums and so much google i can still taste it in my mouth

i have edited BxDolProfileFields.php i have ran numerous bits of code and none of it works

is there a solution for this?...please say there is

hi thank for that, i have all the language settings>settings set up

but still i get the d.o.b displaying backwards
