D7rc3 Photos membership bug

Hi, the function to view the original photo(new action inside the photo module) have to be inside the dolphin framework..otherwise everyone can see the original picture after they get the link from someone because there aren't privacy/membership check...

Its is under the assumption that for people who don't want users seeing their pictures , they have the option to set privacy limits on the photo album itself. And unless members are actually "bookmarking" the direct URL, that means they have seen it anyway, so what does it matter? Kinda redundant.

Suppose you have a photo and want to show it only to some members, (privacy settimgs), a member that u have allowed can take the link and if he want to show it to other, simply give the link...this is a PRIVACY VIOLATION!! If you think this isn't a privacy violation why we have the privacy settings for photos and videos and why members can make private folders?

Hello luca_it!

Closing direct links like 'http://site.com/media/images/.../picture.jpg' was made at the last moment by users requests. As photos take a part as album cover so it will be too hard for server resources ask every time membership access level for photo viewing. In current state possible to add sys_option 'Enable view size viewing' but it's not necessary - because link to pic can be viewable from other places.

ok, don't take care of this....

I've founded another way for this... I've changed the function called in the database!

This really is a valid issue.  You can get the direct url of any photo by right clcicking on it.  It's not just the view larger action.
