I'm pretty sure that everyone is aware of the validation error for the NickName field when using the beta. It has been referenced and repaired in another post.
However in testing the facebook connect module, I noticed that it uses a very odd email address at facebook and that the preg_
mathc() validation rules don't allow the email that is supplied by the facebook connect module. This only becomes apparent when you want to update a profile that was created using the facebook connect.
Please make sure that someone (pundits, experts?) submits this one to the TRAC for resolution.
In the mean time I will be working on a new match string that supports the weird email from facebook connect.
